Shipwrecked is a reality documentary that paid people to live on an island together, in which they had to live off of the land in order to survive. The series documented how they handled the pressure of living in an isolated area, and how they managed to work as a team in order to survive. However, the format changed in 2006, adapting reality game show aspects such as competitions and challenges, as well as a monetary prize and rewards that could be obtained.
